The sand was so white the glare was unbearable without sunnies and we were their on a cloudy day. The water was the most amazing aqua blue.

I have lived most of my life in and on the sea and I have never seen beaches like it.

These are net pics from sunny days of the area. Lotsa coves and bays...





These are my pics with a poxy 2 megapixel phone camera at an isolated national park. THOUSANDS of backpacker babes get down here from all over the world. You can even sun bake with "Skippy".












The water! Oh the water! Amazing colours that my little phone camera cant pick up on. This was the next day in town. Lotsa sun now.





My new house. As soon as i've filled out the "Land Rights" form i'm claiming "Native Title" and a strong connection with that house due to the "Woggle Spirtit" passing through their and my spurious ties to aboriginal Australia.


This beach is overlooked by that house and many other rich mining engineers "humble" abodes...






This is a little strip of beach between two rocky outcrops. About 150m wide. ABSOLOUTLY stunning. Really cant see it in the photo's. Slightly killer walk down their though. Bring a mobile phone in case of a run in with a Tiger Snake Shocked

Dolphin pods came near. Crystal clear water.

ESPERANCE shark victim Zac Golebiowski has told of the horrific moment he was mauled by a 4.5m white pointer shark which bit off his right leg.

But the brave teenager has revealed he was more shocked than scared when the monster atacked and tore his right leg off just above the knee.

The 15-year-old surfer, who was attacked by a white pointer earlier this month at Wharton Beach, describes the terror in gory detail in the latest New Idea magazine.

He said he still can't bear to look below his waist.

"It's a weird, crazy experience getting shaken around like that and I remember seeing the shark, but not feeling scared at all, just shocked,'' he said.

"The shark then dragged me up and I think I yelled for help.

"There was heaps of blood around me and I knew it was mine, but it wasn't until my brother put me on his board that I saw my leg was missing.

"I could see the bone sticking out and it was then that I started blacking out.''...

This was in early december.

Saw the shark at this beach where "dolphins played". Late December.




Just swimming along minding his own business in the beautiful clear water.

If people wonder why I brag about lovely beaches but spend more time in front of the computer...this is why.  Wink

The top 3 are from the net. The rest are mone taken on a 2 megapixel phone camera. A Sony Erikson W810i.


I can send you or anyone else the 400k full size images if you want :-)

I guess there are beaches around the world with prettier 'landscapes' to go along with their beaches but NO place on earth comes close to the "whiteness" of the sand and "deep blues and aqua's" of the water.

The house is not mine. I was making a joke about Aboriginal land rights and maybe declaring my "native title" :-)

Have you been in Cuba, Donnie? The beaches of Varadero would come very close if not equal. There sure are some gorgeous places on this planet, sadly we are doning our best to screw things up.

Seems to have tapered off. My "Honey Eaters" and "Doves" have returned though.

Funny, I've been asking around. No one seems to give a stuff. What a perfect town to unload new bio-weapons on. The locals are dumb as ditch water. Not all of course. :-)

Hav'nt been to Cuba. SO FAR AWAY! Would like to dream of it as a socialist paradise with people lounging around, talking politics and singing and dancing but I'm told this is not so? Have you been?

Yes, Donnie... I was there last Spring. My son treated me... and two years
before that also to the Dominican Republic. Cuba was much cleaner, even
away from the resorts, while Dom. Rep...yet, when you leave the gorgeous
tourist places, quite dirty. Havana is an exciting place to visit with so much
history and the many refurbished colonial buildings to prove it.
