That Bush would consider committing an act of terrorism on the soil of an ally should fill us all with trepidation. This revelation demonstrates Bush's insanity and the depth of his evil. Bush is a terrorist. Killing innocent journalists and civilians is terrorism whichever way you view it. Could you imagine the outcry there would be if 'Al-Qaeda' were to bomb Fox News' headquarters because of the anti-Muslim propaganda poured-out on a daily basis by O'Reilly, Hannity and Coulter?
Blair appears to have forgotten his place so I will remind him of a few basic premises of British 'democracy'. Listen up Mr. Prime Minister.
One, you are here to serve us - not the other way round. Two, it is we - the British taxpayers - who pay your fucking wages and fund your wars. You are answerable to us - not the other way round. Three, your first duty is to the people of Britain - not to the American president.
Enough is enough. Blair must not be allowed to conceal the truth. We demand to know the truth. It is our democratic right. We want to know why our government is so fanatically supportive of a terrorist.
I believe that the time has arrived for the alternative media to finally call Blair to account. We must redouble our efforts, and consider fresh tactics. We must be bold and we must be fearless. Let's nail the lying, treacherous bastard once and for all. Let's discard the kid gloves.
There are two ways round the legal obstacle that Blair has placed in the path of the British press in an attempt to shield the truth. The first is to ignore the law. If Blair sees fit to ignore laws in pursuit of his agenda then so too should we. Blair ignored international law when he jointly invaded Iraq. Two wrongs don't make a right but at least our law-breaking will ensure that the truth comes out. It is for the mainstream British media to decide for themselves as to whether the greater public good is served by silence or expose. But don't hold your breath waiting on the lap-dog press to take the lead.
The source(s) of the leaked memo might consider furbishing a copy of the memo's content to the Internet's alternative media. We will make sure that the memo gets circulated around the globe. We can ALWAYS be relied upon to stand up to this Orwellian government and ensure that truth sees the light of day. This is our role, and our patriotic duty. Don't forget that it is we who forced the issue of the first Downing Street memos onto the agenda, and that it is we who broke the Plame-CIA scandal months ahead of the mainstream media, and that it is we who will continue to walk where the controlled-media fear to even tread.
D-Notices do not faze us in the slightest. The D-Notice system is a 'voluntary' arrangement between the British government and the British media. D-Notices are thus not applicable to the alternative media.
Those exposing the nefarious activities of the corrupt government machine merit support. The State will always portray such individuals as treasonous and as a threat to national security. They are neither. These brave and honourable people are true patriots. The REAL traitors and the REAL threat to our security are those embedded within the government apparatus who lie to us on a daily basis, who seek to curtail and erode our civil liberties, who misuse our military in phoney wars, and the compartmenalised factions who engage in acts of state-sponsored terrorism.
They must be exposed.
With the press effectively gagged and unlikely to pursue the matter further, the onus once again falls on the alternative media to be a beacon of truth. The source(s) of the memo are advised to bypass the mainstream media, and deal directly with us. You can count on us to reproduce the contents of the memo that the government so desperately seek to bury. Be assured that we are not as easy to gag as the lapdog press, and be assured that we have no fear of penalty or incarceration.
